Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsible for providing quality imaging and assisting the Radiologist in diagnostic procedures. This role requires a current state Nuclear Medicine license and preferably at least one year of acute, clinical radiology experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology, along with experience in operating Radiographic and Fluoroscopic equipment.

Qualifications

• Current State Nuclear Medicine License required.
• At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality imaging.
• Assist Radiologist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.

Job description

The Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Education and Work Experience

• Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT.
