About the Role

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you'll perform imaging, diagnostic, and Theranostics nuclear medicine procedures — preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and collaborating with physicians and clinic staff to deliver high‑quality, personalized patient care.

What You'll Do
  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures (SPECT-CT and/or PET-CT) and/or diagnostic and Theranostics nuclear medicine procedures
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols and safety standards
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinic staff to interpret imaging studies and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Calculate, order, prepare, and measure radiopharmaceuticals/kits
  • Provide support and assistance to patients throughout imaging, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to regulatory and clinic standards
  • Maintain documentation regarding receipt of radiopharmaceuticals, dosage, quality control, radioactive source storage, and disposal of radioactive materials
  • Optimize imaging protocols and procedures to enhance the quality and efficiency of nuclear medicine services
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
  • Assist in quality assurance and control activities to uphold clinic standards
  • Conduct visual safety inspections and report any hazardous building or equipment conditions
  • Maintain supply inventory, ensuring adequate materials are available
  • Ensure work areas are orderly and clean, promptly reporting any unsafe conditions
  • Participate in continuous education to stay updated on industry trends and advancements
What You Bring
  • Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • State licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • 5+ years of experience using nuclear medicine tools, equipment, and related office technology
  • Previous experience in a nuclear medicine setting (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of personalized Theranostics and its applications (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards
