Position Overview

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist applies nuclear medicine imaging practices using radiopharmaceuticals and specialized equipment.

Essential Functions
  • Procures, prepares, and handles radioactive materials safely, including quality control, documentation, and disposal.
  • Schedules exams and reviews images for diagnostic quality.
  • Establishes IV access and administers medications as prescribed.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institute (preferred).
  • Certification and registration with ARRT or NMTCB (required).
  • State licensure (preferred or required by state).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required).
Experience
  • One year of nuclear medicine experience (preferred).
