Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN) for the West Columbia site. The role involves utilizing radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals to perform diagnostic exams, with a day shift (700am-330pm) and PRN coverage in the LH Heart & Vasc West Columbia team.

The ideal candidate will have formal education in Nuclear Medicine Technology, relevant licensure, and experience in administering radiopharmaceuticals, calculating dosages, and providing patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent (education requirement).
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or eligibility for certification and SC license.
• SC Radiation Quality Standards Association license required.

Responsibilities

• Organizes daily workload and prepares imaging studies.
• Orders radiopharmaceuticals and kits as needed; computes correct dosages.
• Operates imaging systems and performs QC procedures on equipment; ensures patient safety.
