Job description

Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN Days Position Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages utilizing radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Applies principals of radiation protection.
  • Exercises professional judgment in performance of service.
  • Provides patient care to patients of all ages.
  • Night and weekend call is required.
  • Proficiency in PACS.

THE NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECH PRN DAYS WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Minimum Education: Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program with an Associate degree or equivalent required.

Minimum Experience: Up to 1 year experience is required, 1 to 2 years preferred.

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: ARRT and/or NMTCB registry preferred. Must be registry eligible. Registry completed with nine (9) months of employment. American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required. SCRQSA certification required.
