Qualifications

Job Summary and Qualifications

  • Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, performs general radiographic procedures and uses various Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.
  • Performs tests on in-patients and out-patients, administering pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in the scope of practice.
  • Demonstrates industry standards in radiation safety.

Qualifications Needed

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
  • ACLS certification must be completed within 6 months of hire.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB), or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)- AART (NM).
  • NMTCB PET Certification preferred.
