Job Summary and Qualifications

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform general radiographic procedures.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independence and ingenuity.
• Perform tests on inpatients and outpatients.
• Utilize various Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.
• Administer pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as per scope of practice.
• Demonstrate industry standards in radiation safety.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• ACLS must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or NMT - AART (NM).
• NMTCB PET Certification preferred.
