Job Summary And Qualifications

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, performs radiographic procedures using isotopes for diagnosis.
• Requires high degree of judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
• Performs tests on inpatients and outpatients.
• Uses various Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as per scope of practice.
• Demonstrates industry-standard radiation safety.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• ACLS must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or NMT-AART (NM).
• NMTCB PET Certification preferred.
