Job summary

BayCare Health System in Clearwater is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech - Outpt to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures within an outpatient setting. The role involves patient care, RIS data management, and collaboration with physicians in a busy clinical environment.

The position requires an Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine, BLS certification, Florida state nuclear medicine credentials or NMTCB/NMRTC eligibility, and prior hospital or clinical experience in nuclear

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent
• BLS, State of Florida Nuclear Medicine credential, ARRT NM or NMTCB eligibility
• Hospital/clinical experience in nuclear medicine preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Manages RIS data and patient care tasks including clerical duties.
• Assists physicians and transports patients as needed.
• Maintains filing in the radiology file room and related duties

Summary:

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. Responsible for all duties related to nuclear medicine patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
