Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa, FL is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. The role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures and providing comprehensive patient care with strong RIS data management and clerical support.

The ideal candidate will have Florida state licensure in Nuclear Medicine, ARRT or NMTCB registry eligibility and a nuclear medicine education background. The position requires flexibility for shift patterns and EMS compliance.

Qualifications

• Nuclear Medicine certification/licensure as required by FL state.
• ARRT or NMTCB eligibility and/or registry within 6 months may be required.
• Education in Nuclear Medicine (Technical or Associate level) is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Responsible for nuclear medicine patient care and related clerical duties.
• Assist physicians and manage RIS data and file room tasks.
• Demonstrate clinical skills and customer service.
• Maintain time management, critical thinking, and effective written and verbal communication.
• Utilize computer systems relevant to the position.

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Responsibilities:

• performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Responsible for nuclear medicine patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
• Other duties as necessary.
• Have clinical skills appropriate to position.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
