Job summary

Independence Health in New Castle, PA, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform routine nuclear medicine and nuclear cardiology procedures, including SPECT imaging, following NCR/state guidelines. You will produce high-quality diagnostic images and manage daily QC, equipment, and hot lab maintenance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Program.
• ARRT NM or NMTCB certification and Healthcare Provider CPR.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision, while actively participating in clinical operations as needed to support clinical and patient flow functions as needed.
• Coach, guide and support clinical and administrative staff.
• Assist with staff scheduling and ongoing staff training.
• Monitor work queues and ensure documentation is complete and there are no outstanding issues.
• Assign work based on volume, acuity, and operational needs.
• Monitor throughput to ensure efficient flow and optimal customer service.
• Support the development, implementation, and adherences to policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish positive and effective working relationships with interna and external customers.
• Support performance improvement initiatives in partnership with the Practice Administrator.
• Other duties as assigned.
