Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist I for a 32-hour week, on-site in Indiana. This role performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine under physician supervision, including radiopharmaceutical administration and image acquisition.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years nuclear medicine procedures experience required.
• 2-4 years experience preferred in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures and therapies per protocol.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals intravenously or orally with safety and regulatory compliance.
• Assess patient condition prior to procedures and verify identification and appropriateness.
• Operate and calibrate imaging equipment including gamma cameras and PET scanners; ensure image quality.
• Maintain NRC/state regulatory documentation and QC checks.
• Ensure safe handling of radioactive materials and radiation safety compliance.
• Explain procedures to patients and caregivers; provide post-procedure care guidance.
