Sentara Imaging Center at Sentara BelleHarbour in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist II for a part-time, day-shift role.

Responsibilities include performing general Nuclear Medicine imaging under the direction of a physician, managing doses of radiopharmaceuticals, educating patients, and maintaining QA standards. ARRT or CNMT certification is required along with a radiologic technology or nuclear medicine degree.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT or CNMT certification.
• Trade School in Radiologic Technology or Bachelor's in Nuclear Medicine required.
• Competent in general Nuclear Medicine imaging and dose management.

Responsibilities

• Perform general Nuclear Medicine imaging under physician direction.
• Prepare, dose, and administer radiopharmaceuticals; operate imaging equipment and QA procedures.
• Explain procedures and discharge instructions, document results and maintain safety standards.
