Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Nuclear Med Tech in Monroe, MI, within the Nuclear Medicine department. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging, radiotherapy, and radiation safety using radiopharmaceuticals, with a focus on minimizing exposure to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a nuclear medicine program.
• Valid State of Ohio Nuclear Medicine license and must be registered by the ARRT or NMTCB. If registry eligible, must pass registry within one year of accepting the position
• CPR

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging, in vitro and in vitro testing radiotherapy, and radiation safety by using radiopharmaceuticals and radionuclides.
• Limit radiation exposure to the patient, public, coworkers and yourself while performing procedures according to physicians’ orders.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and participate in research activities; train assigned students and meet continuing education requirements to maintain your nuclear medicine registry/license.
