Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, PET scanning, SPECT, and radiopharmacy tasks as required. Responsibilities include preparing radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring safety, and maintaining records under the ALARA program.

There is a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend rotation; graduates of an approved Nuclear Medicine program with Florida licensure and CNMT/ARRT(N) certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Maintains current Florida State License as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine, therapeutic nuclear medicine, PET scanning, cardiac stress lab functions, and radiopharmacy functions as required.
• Exhibits professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to quality care.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Performs SPECT and SPECT CT imaging as required by guidelines or physician order.
• Performs PET imaging on a rotational basis as outlined in procedures or directed by interpreting physician.
