Job summary

Abrazo Central Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform clinical diagnostic nuclear medicine testing, including general and cardiac studies, while ensuring high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists and physicians.

The role involves safe handling of radiopharmaceuticals, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with physicians and nurses on stress tests and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical diagnostic nuclear medicine testing including general and cardiac studies.
• Assists in procurement, preparation, quality control, and safe handling of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Maintains compliance with radiation safety regulations under supervision of the Radiation Safety Officer.
• Consults with radiologists and physicians for complex cases and proper protocols.
• Assists physicians and nurses with stress test procedures and radionuclide applications.
