This role collaborates with physicians to interpret imaging results for accurate diagnoses, and maintains detailed records while following strict radiation safety and disposal regulations in hospital, imaging center, or research settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) and administer them to patients via injection, inhalation, or oral methods.
• Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture images of radioactive material within the body for diagnostic purposes.
• Monitor patients during procedures for any adverse reactions or complications.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure.
• Collaborate with physicians to analyze imaging results for accurate diagnoses or treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures performed and ensure proper disposal of radioactive materials according to regulations.
