Job summary

Community Cancer Institute in Clovis, CA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a high-acuity imaging team. You will independently perform advanced nuclear medicine procedures within a multidisciplinary oncology setting.

Requirements include graduation from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or an Associate’s degree, plus 2 years post‑graduate experience and BLS certification along with state‑certified NM/CTNM credentials. We offer strong benefits and growth.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or Associate's Degree in related field.
  • 2 years of post-program graduate experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA) required.
  • State of California Certified Tech Nuclear Medicine (CTNM) required.
  • Must have NMTCB(CNMT) or ARRT(N) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Independently perform nuclear medicine procedures in a high-acuity imaging environment.
  • Prepare, compound, administer and quality-test radiopharmaceuticals following regulatory standards.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification, exam selection, positioning and protocol completion.
  • Maintain safety practices, aseptic technique, and precise documentation.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Community Health System (CHS) you will practices at a fully independent level, supporting ahigh‑acuityimaging environment through technicalexpertise, soundjudgmentand collaboration with Nuclear Medicine Physicians. This role is embedded within a multidisciplinary team committed to diagnostic accuracy, patientsafetyand continuous quality improvement.

You will independently perform nuclear medicine procedures, including preparing, compounding,administeringand quality‑testing radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with regulatory standards. You will ensure high‑quality imaging throughaccuratepatient identification,appropriate examselection, properpositioningand protocol completion, whilemaintaininga safe and compliant environment through adherence to aseptic technique, medication‑administration standards, radiation safety practices, equipment maintenancerequirementsand precise documentation.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or Associate's Degree in related field required
  • 2 years of post-program graduate experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologistrequired

*Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. While experience is preferred, we welcome and encourage applications from new graduates and provide training for candidates without prior experience.

Licenses and Certifications

  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • CTNM - State of California Certified Tech Nuclear Medicine all scopes including venipuncture required

Must have one of the following primary certification:

  • NMTCB(CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • ARRT(N) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology
