Job summary

The Clinical Coordinator within the Nuclear Medicine Program at Chattanooga State Community College is responsible for coordinating effective and appropriate clinical education experiences for students under the direction of the Nuclear Medicine Program Director, also assisting in the preparation and instruction of student laboratory experiences, sharing in the didactic course load.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution.
• Active certification and registration in nuclear medicine technology.
• Two years’ post-certification experience in nuclear medicine.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate effective and appropriate clinical education experiences for students.
• Assist in preparation and instruction of student laboratory experiences, sharing in didactic course load.
• Carry a course load of clinical duties with at least one didactic course and multiple laboratory assignments.
• Maintain compliance with JRCNMT standards and college policies; align with accreditation expectations.
• Collaborate with Program Director, faculty, and clinical preceptors to support student success and program quality.
