Job summary

PAGNY is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Physician to join NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in the Bronx. The role covers diagnostic, general, and cardiac imaging, with opportunities for radiology education and protocol development.

The position offers a competitive base salary ($295,276–$300,276) with comprehensive benefits, no weekend calls, and potential loan forgiveness. Board certification in Nuclear Medicine or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Nuclear Medicine (ABNM).
• New York State Medical License (or ability to obtain).
• Nuclear Cardiology certification preferred.
• CT interpretation certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily Nuclear Medicine clinical coverage including diagnostic, general, and cardiac imaging.
• Participate in teaching and education of Radiology residents.
• Review and modify existing protocols; assist with new protocol development.
• Counsel patients and families on radiation safety for therapy.
• Complete assigned projects supporting Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, and the institution.
• No after-hours or weekend call responsibilities.
