Job description

Job Title and Department

The Department of Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is seeking a full-time academic nuclear medicine radiologist at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor.

Division and Equipment

The Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging maintains a PET/CT scanner, a SPECT/CT camera, three SPECT gamma cameras, a single-head LFOV gamma camera, and a DEXA scanner.

Responsibilities

1. Interpretation of nuclear medicine stress tests, PET-CT, SPECT-CT, bone densitometry, and general nuclear medicine studies.
2. Participation in clinical, educational, and research activities within the Division and Department, including theranostics.

Candidate Environment

Candidates will contribute to a collegial and collaborative environment that promotes growth, excellent patient care, and interdisciplinary research. Prior experience in PET and PET/CT is preferred.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree.
• Board Certification or eligibility by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine or a CAQ in Nuclear Radiology from the American Board of Radiology.
• License or eligibility to practice medicine in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
