Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to perform high‑quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging. You will follow established protocols, administer radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist supervision, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam.

The role requires ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification, State Nuclear Medicine License, venipuncture certification, and BLS. About one year of imaging experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification is required.
• State Nuclear Medicine License is required.
• Venipuncture certification/permit is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of one year diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT images.
• Follow established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist supervision.
• Explain exam steps to patients and address questions.
• Monitor patient well‑being during exams and respond to issues.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications.

You Will

• Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing excellent care.
• Follow company established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
• Under the direction of the radiologist, administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Monitor patients’ well- being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification
• State Nuclear Medicine License.
• Must have venipuncture certification/permit.
• BLS certification
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range: $50.00– $95.00 per hour
