Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Foundation, a California nonprofit health system, seeks a Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist to prepare radiopharmaceuticals, perform imaging, and ensure radiation safety. The role requires precise handling, regulatory compliance, and proficiency with PET/CT equipment.

Ideal candidates have accreditation in nuclear medicine, CPR certification, and strong patient service skills, with preferred CT/Radiologic experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nuclear medicine.
• One year experience as a licensed nuclear medicine technologist.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Basic Life Support - CPR (AHA BLS).
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform diagnostic procedures.
• Operate PET/CT and other nuclear medicine instruments under supervision.
• Ensure radiation safety and quality control.
• Dispose of radioactive materials per regulations.
• Monitor work areas for regulatory compliance.
