Job summary

NYU Langone Florida is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures in West Palm Beach, FL. You will ensure high-quality diagnostic results while maintaining patient safety and regulatory compliance.

The role involves operating gamma cameras, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, and collaborating with physicians, technologists, and staff to support accurate imaging and patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida Radiologic Technologist License in Nuclear Medicine and ARRT‑N or NMTCB certification.
• Experience with radiopharmaceuticals, safety, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and review orders for accuracy.
• Explain procedures and obtain consent when required.
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort, privacy and safety.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging per protocols.
• Monitor patients and respond to adverse events or emergencies.
• Adjust imaging techniques based on patient condition.
