Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide highly skilled support for diagnostic scanning procedures in clinical and research settings. The role involves administering radioisotopes, ensuring data processing accuracy, and contributing to patient care under minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program with ARRT/NMTCB certification, CMRT, and Texas licensure, plus BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nuclear medicine technology.
• Licensed as Nuclear Medicine Technologist upon hire (ARRT/NMTCB).
• CMRT certification and Texas CMRT upon hire.
• BLS/CPR certification prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and ensures supplies for procedures.
• Verifies patient identification and prepares patients for procedures.
• Performs nuclear medicine examinations according to protocol and documents results.
• Assists in QA/QC and regulatory compliance; may supervise in absence of supervisor.
