Job summary

Catawba Valley Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of imaging procedures under the clinical direction of a Radiologist, Cardiologist or Surgeon. Required credentials include graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology program, ARRT (N) or CNMT certification, and BCLS certification (AHA preferred).

Preferred candidates may have 2+ years of experience, though no previous experience is required with training

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology program.
• BCLS certification; if the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within one month of employment date.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of imaging procedures under the clinical direction of a Radiologist, Cardiologist or Surgeon.
• Maintains patient safety and adheres to department protocols while obtaining diagnostic quality images.
