Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH is seeking a Clinical Research Specialist in Radiology, Division of Nuclear Medicine to coordinate start-up activities for imaging trials, including PET, SPECT, and theranostics.

This role partners with Oncology, Nursing, Laboratory, Pharmacy and Radiation Safety to translate complex protocols into efficient workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, and support successful clinical trial execution across treating teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 4 years of relevant experience required.
• SOCRA or ACRP certification is required.
• Experience with Phase 1-2 trials and nuclear medicine imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start-up activities for imaging trials in Radiology, including PET/SPECT/theranostics.
• Review protocols for feasibility and lead set-up of nuclear medicine procedures.
• Develop workflows for research procedures with technologists and physicians.
• Serve as primary resource for physicians, technologists, radiation safety staff, and nuclear pharmacists.
• Schedule and order imaging/therapy and collaborate with external teams to ensure trial execution.
