Job summary

University of Washington seeks a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA-C) to join the Nuclear Medicine service at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle. This Teaching Associate will support molecular imaging and therapy, with collaborative radiology leadership and research opportunities.

The role includes initial and on-treatment visits, education on radiopharmaceuticals, and participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards and clinical trials.

Qualifications

• 1 year ARNP or PA-C experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Washington state license and DEA license required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• EMR/CPOE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial consultations as shared visits with nuclear medicine faculty.
• Provide patient education on radiopharmaceutical therapies.
• Evaluate and manage on-treatment and post-treatment side effects from radiopharmaceutical therapies.
• Coordinate care with Nuclear Medicine Therapy Coordinator and Oncology teams.
• Assist with diagnostic decisions and prep for nuclear medicine and PET scans.
• Draft preliminary imaging reports under radiologist supervision (training available).
• Participate in tumor boards, clinical meetings and molecular imaging research.
• Share on-call responsibilities for Fred Hutch therapy patients.
