Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the Nuclear Medicine department in Florida. Under the supervision of a physician, you will conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials across patient populations.

You will demonstrate knowledge of growth and development, assess and interact with pediatric to geriatric patients, and communicate effectively to ensure high-quality patient care. Florida RT license required; BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification is required.
• Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology training program is required.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of current nuclear medicine experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Interact, communicate and provide care for specific patient populations under the supervision of a physician.

Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development and possess ability to assess, interact, communicate, and care for specific patient populations.

Required Qualifications

• Require American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification.
• Require completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology training program.
• Require a minimum of seven (7) years of current nuclear medicine experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Computed Tomography (CT) registry.
• Prefer previous nuclear cardiology experience.

Required License and Certs

• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
• FL RT: Florida Radiologic Tech
