Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an approved nuclear medicine program.
• Certified by NMTCB and/or ARRT(N) or Florida license.
• BLS/CPR certified for healthcare providers.
• Less than one year since graduation; clinical internship experience preferred.

Qualifications

Age of Patients Served:All Age GroupsRequired Education:Associate's degree; Graduate of an approved nuclear medicine training program.Necessary Skills:1. Have the mathematical skills to properly calculate doses and apply routine nuclear medicine formulas as needed.2. Work with fellow technologist and professional staff to maximize patient workload.Required Licensure/Certifications:- Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and/or registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(N)),- Licensed by the State of Florida as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist,- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR)Required Experience:Less than one year - Graduate from an approved nuclear medicine program.Preferred Experience:One to two years experience preferred.
