Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a part-time basis, with rotating shifts. Working under a board-certified radiologist, you will perform nuclear medicine procedures across patient ages, ensuring quality images for interpretation while maintaining ALARA principles.

The role emphasizes exceptional patient care, clear communication with colleagues and families, and ability to draft imaging protocols.

Qualifications

  • Education: Accredited 2 or 4 year Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Certification: ARRT and/or CNMT through the NMTCB.
  • Experience: 3+ years of previous experience in a general Nuclear Medicine department preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Exceptional Patient Care: Must understand we exist for the patients and make their care the number one priority.
  • Excellent Communicator: Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients and family member.
  • Strong Educator: Instructs students and precepts new colleagues as assigned. Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.
  • Technical Familiarity: Ability to draft and implement imaging protocols to ensure image quality. Understanding in computer-based applications, email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Active Teamwork: Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.
