Job summary

PIH Health seeks an experienced nuclear medicine technologist to perform nuclear medicine and PET exams while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort. The role requires California licensure, ARRT/NMTCB certifications, and hospital-based training in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should demonstrate expertise in ALARA, radiation protection, and accurate radioisotope exposure techniques, with strong patient assessment skills.

Job description

Performs nuclear medicine and PET exams maintaining maximal patient safety and comfort. Exams include all parts of the vasculature structures and organ systems.

Required Experience

Required:

• State of California DHS License (N) (R)
• ARRT certification in CT and/or NMTCB certification in PET
• Two (2) years training in an AMA approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology
• CPR/BLS
• Two (2) years’ experience in a hospital setting performing nuclear medicine technology with fusion imaging.
