Job summary

iMacroSolutions in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist – PET/CT with hands-on PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine experience. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of relevant experience and the required nuclear medicine certifications.

You will perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures, ensure patient safety, follow Joint Commission standards, and collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nurses. Travel among Los Angeles area locations may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine experience.
• Current NMTCB/CT or ARRT – Nuclear Medicine certification required.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification and knowledge of Joint Commission standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine procedures safely and accurately.
• Prepare patients and explain imaging procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals per established protocols.
• Operate PET/CT and nuclear medicine equipment.
• Maintain high-quality images while ensuring patient safety.
• Monitor patients and respond to needs during procedures.

• Document patient and procedure details accurately.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist – PET/CT with strong hands‑on experience in PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, the required nuclear medicine certifications, and a strong commitment to patient care and safety.

The technologist will perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures, provide excellent patient care, follow established safety and quality standards, and work collaboratively with physicians and the healthcare team. This position may require travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine procedures safely and accurately.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the examination process.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols and safety procedures.
• Operate PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging equipment.
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental policies.
• Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation.
• Follow Joint Commission requirements and healthcare standards.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications:

• PET/CT & Nuclear Medicine: 2+ years of hands‑on industry experience in PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine
• Certifications: NMTCB/CT or ARRT – Nuclear Medicine
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Joint Commission: Understanding of Joint Commission requirements and standards
• Patient Care: Strong commitment to outstanding patient care and positive patient experience
• Independent & Team-Based Work: Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work at and travel among Los Angeles, Panorama City, and Woodland Hills locations
