Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist and in association with radiologists, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist conducts themselves professionally, responds to patient needs, and supports colleagues in providing quality patient care. The technologist performs services according to accepted standards and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to patients, self, and team members.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine
  • State of FL Certified Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technologist license
  • ARRT(N) through ARRT or CNMT through NMTCB
  • BLS certification
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
