Shift: PRN. Varied hours. Call and holiday rotations required.

  1. Provide quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
  2. Assume responsibility and deliver direct quality care for patients receiving Nuclear Medicine and PET exams.
  3. Ensure proper operation of imaging and specialty equipment; stay informed about medical device uses.
  4. Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.
  5. Assist with patient and family education.
  6. Perform efficiently in emergency situations.
  7. Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures.
  8. Acquire, process, and photograph optimal exams for diagnostic interpretation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology; registered in Nuclear Medicine with ARRT or NMTCB.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification per American Heart Association standards.
