The Somerset Cardiac Imaging Center, an outpatient department of Baptist Health Corbin, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images in a patient-centered outpatient setting in Somerset, Kentucky.
Responsibilities include patient verification, radiation safety, protocol maintenance, and coordination with cardiology, nursing, transport, and other departments.

Provides health care services using radioisotopes to assist in diagnosis or treatment (therapies). Performs Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT related procedures, computer processing, and related techniques to produce images for the interpretation by a Radiologist or a licensed independent practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.
