Premier Health Partners is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the Nuclear Medicine department at Miami Valley North. The role entails independently performing Nuclear Medicine procedures with radiopharmaceuticals and ensuring radiation safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures with proper techniques and radiopharmaceutical administration.
  • Coordinate patient flow and department activities including radiation protection; ensure equipment is maintained.
  • May perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed; may have on-call responsibilities.

General Summary/Responsibilities

Independently performs Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of radiopharmaceuticals. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Nuclear Medicine department including radiation protection practices. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of his/her duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities.

  • Preferred educational qualifications: Associate degree, graduate of an accredited program or currently enrolled in a multi-modality program with board certification in Nuclear Medicine

Licensure/Certification/Registration
  • CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire
  • -Nuclear Medicine registry required
  • -ODH licensure required
  • -ARRT RT (N) registry required and/or NMTCB
