Job summary

Hunterdon Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform comprehensive nuclear medicine examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnosis while maintaining patient safety and comfort in Flemington, NJ.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology, ARRT/NMTCB certification or registry-eligibility with NJDEP license, and 1–2 years of nuclear medicine experience.

• 1-2 years nuclear medicine technology experience
• ARRT Registry or NMTCB Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or registry-eligible and NJDEP Nuclear Medicine License
• Knowledge and skill to perform nuclear medicine examinations and interact with patients

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy in patient positioning, machine setup, radiopharmaceutical administration, and image acquisition.
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals and perform post-processing of images.
• Provide recordkeeping of patient history, dose administration, machine quality control and radiation surveys.
• Review orders, explain procedures and ensure high level of patient satisfaction.
• Maintain department cleanliness and assure adequate supply inventory.

PositionSummary

Performs all nuclear medicine examinations that create the images needed for diagnosis; and integrates scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information.

Primary Position Responsibilities

Maintain high degree of accuracy and quality in patient positioning, machine set-up, radiopharmaceutical administration, image acquisition and post-processing.

Follow all National Patient Safety Goals.
