Shields Health Care seeks a PET technologist to provide a professional, caring atmosphere while maintaining a fast-paced clinical environment at multiple sites (CMMC, AJH, York).

Responsibilities include operating PET equipment, ensuring patient safety, informing patients about exams, and coordinating data and films with radiologists, while adhering to NRC and JCAHO rules.

Competenze

• Must possess a state license for the state(s) in which he/she is employed to work.
• Must be certified in CPR.
• Must be registered by the ARRT and/or NMTCB.
• A minimum of one-year prior nuclear medicine experience is required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
• Must be proficient in starting IVs.
• Must be able to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to assist patients with mobility difficulties.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.

• Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.
• Provide and issue films when appropriate.
• Forward PET related data to Radiologist upon completion of exam.
• Refilm cases as time allows
• Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise.
• Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.

Monday & Friday - CMMC 8a - 6:30p Tuesday - AJH - 8a - 6:30p Wednesday - York 8a - 6:30p

Job Description: What you will do:

Additional Job Description

Pay range for this position is $32 - $60/hr + benefits.

Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

It is not intended that this Job Description include all details of the work functions of this position. The incumbent will perform work of a lower or equivalent classification as required or directed, and work of higher classification for training and development purposes or as situationally warranted.
