Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to assist with development, analysis, testing and implementation of systems for nuclear power projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to real-world engineering solutions.

You will report to the department manager and be located at our Rock Hill, SC or Columbia, SC facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid or onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and analysis activities
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, reports, and calculations
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
• Support resolution of engineering and manufacturing issues
• Conduct engineering evaluations and research activities
• Support testing and validation efforts
• Collaborate with project teams
