Duke Energy is hiring an entry-level Nuclear Materials Specialist to perform warehouse tasks, including receiving, storage, and issue of materials at a company facility. The role emphasizes supervision, safety training, and adherence to nuclear procedures.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with preferred candidates having related supply chain knowledge. Desirable qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, forklift certification, and exposure to hazardous materials

Qualificações

• Must have strong communication and basic supply chain knowledge.
• Familiarity with computer systems used for warehouse transactions.
• Experience with Excel and data handling is preferred.
• Demonstrated organization and time management abilities are essential.
• Ability to prioritize tasks across long and short term duties.
• Some knowledge of nuclear plant operations is beneficial.
• Forklift operation and hazardous materials training are advantages.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, store, and issue materials; locate items and prepare shipments.
• Maintain warehouse conditions and perform housekeeping.
• Undergo training per PSGs, radiation protection, and supply chain systems.
