Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Manufacturing Manager for the Manning, SC site to lead machinists, electricians, and technicians in tooling, parts, and assemblies for nuclear outage projects and development work. This onsite role requires five days in the office, with potential for shift work or off-hours support on special projects.

You will report to the Manager of Field Service Operations, manage daily machining and assembly activities, and drive safety, quality, and productivity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing related field or equivalent experience.
• 7 years experience in manufacturing, fabrication, and production.
• Nuclear and quality experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of employees to ensure safe daily operation of machining and assembly activities.
• Implement a manufacturing schedule/calendar for outage project support.
• Plan and assign work, implement procedures, and improve production methods and conditions.
• Oversee budget and spending; manage make-vs-buy decisions and labor use.
• Maintain standards for safety, quality, delivery, people, and cost.
