Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Licensing Engineer 2 to help deploy advanced nuclear technology, focusing on Advanced Plant projects, and contribute to licensing and regulatory strategy for new plant development.

You will report to the New Plants Licensing Manager for Safety Analysis, Risk Applications, and Licensing and will directly support the exciting growth in the Westinghouse Advanced Plant development globally, with hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering experience
• Experience in nuclear licensing processes
• Familiar with NRC regulations and guidance

Responsibilities

• Support licensing documents for submittals to customers and regulators
• Collaborate with engineering teams to create licensing inputs
• Participate in meetings to present technical material
• Communicate work status to technical leads and management
• Work within scope, budget, and schedule requirements
• Evaluate design changes for regulatory compliance
