Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. seeks a regulatory specialist to develop and review NRC submissions, monitor regulatory changes, and build strong client relationships for nuclear projects.

You will lead independent research, support aging management and license renewal efforts, and provide input on project schedules and regulatory issues. Travel is ~10% and role may involve interaction with NRC and EPA, as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience in the nuclear power industry.
• Must have license renewal experience in the nuclear industry.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of regulations, regulatory agencies, and licensing processes for nuclear plants.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory expertise to develop/review documents for NRC filings and client presentations.
• Perform independent research/analysis to support regulatory projects and monitor trends.
• Build and maintain client licensing staff relationships and identify business opportunities.
• Contribute to project/program schedules and reviews related to licensing and 50.59 evaluations.
