Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. in Glendale Heights, IL, is seeking a Nuclear Manufacturing technician to support production of time-sensitive radiopharmaceuticals.

The role operates on a Sunday–Thursday night schedule with rotating shifts and requires adherence to FDA/NRC/DOT requirements. You will learn, perform, and document batch manufacturing, quality testing, and safety tasks in ISO cleanrooms, including SAP inventory management and environmental monitoring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, sciences preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience preferred; lab experience valued.
• Must be able to work overnight shift.
• Prior regulated manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds; good color discernment and vision.

Responsibilities

• Complete extensive training and demonstrate proficiency.
• Manufacture radioactive isotopes and set up synthesis
• Perform quality control tests with standard lab equipment
• Work in ISO 7 cleanroom to produce product and customer vials
• Conduct environmental and personnel monitoring in ISO 5/7/8 areas
• Coordinate daily production runs based on customer and pharmacy needs
• Maintain production records and documentation; manage SAP inventory
• Perform daily radiation safety tasks and routine lab cleaning
