Job summary

System One in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer for nuclear equipment and services. This is a direct hire, onsite role.

You will review RFQs, generate proposals, enter orders, coordinate with customers and suppliers, and track deliveries. Ideal candidates have engineering/technical degrees with 1–3 years in the nuclear sector and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field preferred; 1-3 years of experience in the Nuclear industry preferred.
• Experience in lieu of degree acceptable.
• Knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

• Generate analytical reports to track demands and orders.
• Perform sourcing for required parts as needed.
• Review drawings and schematics for select parts/equipment.
• Understand regulatory requirements for procurement tasks.
• Obtain final procurement approvals following required procedures.
• Understand the technical requirements of purchase orders or contracts to ensure documentation is complete.
