Job summary

This role supports the NNSA NEST CM program and Fly Away Laboratory operations, ensuring rapid sample handling, analysis, and data delivery for radiological incidents.

You will work with DOE CM leadership, develop standard lab procedures, provide training, and participate in interagency groups to advance national capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field with research experience.
• Ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support research and development projects related to nuclear incident response.
• Develop and validate radiological lab processes for sample handling and data review.
