Job summary

Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation in Burlington, KS, seeks a Journeyman I&C Technician to perform maintenance, calibrations, modifications, and testing on plant systems and equipment. The role requires using test equipment and contributing to procedure corrections, work instructions, and job preparation for safe execution.

As a Journeyman I&C Technician, you will lead teams, train staff, and support documentation, walkdowns, and evaluations while ensuring compliance with plant procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of working experience in instrumentation and controls, with at least one year of related technical training.
• Relevant experience is defined as analog and digital process controls and measurements.
• Relevant technical field is Instrumentation, which includes electrical, electronics, and process controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform I&C activities including troubleshooting, calibration, repairs, reworks, removal/installation, and preventative maintenance throughout the plant.
• Assist with development, preparation, and documentation of assigned activities.
• Brief, lead, and coordinate work crews to complete work safely and efficiently.
• Train and develop personnel in technical knowledge and skills, following station policies and procedures.
• Assist with administrative duties, including evaluations, budget input, work orders, and validations.
