Job summary

Strata-G, LLC is seeking an experienced engineering professional to assist with two major projects at the HFIR site in Oak Ridge, TN. The individual will support efforts to restore HFIR's operating power and provide comprehensive engineering, design, and analysis support. Qualified candidates should have over 10 years of experience in nuclear reactors, strong project management skills, and a Bachelor's degree in electrical or I&C engineering. This is a full-time onsite position, with a focus on nuclear technology and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of hands-on experience at an operating nuclear reactor.
• Minimum of 6 years working in DOE nuclear facilities, naval nuclear, and/or commercial nuclear plants.
• Comprehensive understanding of nuclear technology, including reactor safety basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering, design, and analysis support for HFIR upgrades.
• Collaborate with system engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure delivery of design milestones on schedule and within scope.
