Job summary

CPCCo in Richland, WA, seeks a Construction Field Work Supervisor to oversee waste project construction activities. You will supervise contractors, manage daily work execution per approved packages, and conduct pre/post-job briefings with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Grade 18 requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 4 years of relevant experience, 3 years in nuclear work.
  • Grade 19 requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 6 years of relevant experience, 3 years in nuclear work.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises construction contractors and personnel for facility upgrades and modifications.
  • Manages daily execution of construction work per approved work packages and CPCCo policies.
  • Conducts pre-job and post-job briefings, including enhanced work planning meetings and lessons learned.
  • Completes work activity documentation and ensures reviews and approvals.
  • Performs field walkdowns to identify hazards and support issue resolution with subcontractor management.
  • Ensures activities remain within Authorization Basis boundaries.
  • Coordinates pre-construction activities with Engineering, Safety, and other groups.
  • Collaborates with Project Management, Engineering, Operations, Procurement and ISMS integration.
  • Resolves issues, makes informed decisions, and adapts to project needs.
